Yesterday it was windy and the temperature did not go up so high, so we could escape from the latest heat that we had suffered these 2 weeks.
It was clear and bright night with the nearly full moon. Though it was still bright around the midnight, the Summer Triangle could be seen with Milky Way. As it is the period of The Perseid meteor shower, several falling stars could be seen during a couple of hours in Kitanomine :-)
The heat has come back since this morning, but we can't complain with this stunning view of the valley today. Every peak of the Daisetsuzan range cuts the beautiful blue sky!!
(The mountain on the extreme right of the photograph is Mt. Furano-dake, and the 2 brown peaks in the middle are Mt. Tokachi-dake and Mt. Biei-dake.)
