Mt. Ashibetsu-dake was obviously screened by clouds on the 25th of July 2011.
But our correspondent went on a climb alone.
Why?
This was a view of Yamabe town after 1 hour climb.
There was a marsh at the 6th stage of Mt. Ashibetsu-dake.
Some beautiful alpine flowers can be seen from the 7th stage.
When he came close to the top, he saw an earlier visitor there.
He finally reached the top of Mt. Ashibetu-dake after about 4 hours climb :D
But unfortunately the visibility was poor because of the clouds :-(
He stayed only 10 minutes at the summit for having a rest!!
