The lavender field adjoining the building is lit up in July.
They went to Kaze no Garden (Windy garden) laid out as an English garden where 365 kinds of flowers are grown. This place is located below New Furano Prince Hotel.

This place is Mt. Hokusei Ski Area in 15 minutes walk from JR Nakafurano station. The chair lifts are available for viewing flowers on the hill in summer season.
With another 15 minutes walk, you can get to Irodori-no Hatake Flower Garden.
Two different kinds of lavender flowers are grown in this field.
