Lake Kanayama is a man-made lake formed by a dam, lies 40 km south of Furano, or within 1 hour drive by car.
There are also some expanses of lavender fields lying beside the lake.
Some activities such as canoeing, windsurfing, fishing and so on
are available on the lake.
The quiet dominates over all around.
There's nothing like a little peace and quiet :D
People can hardly find feel of commercialism.
There is also a campsite close to the lake.
