Kaze-no Garden (Windy Garden)

Kaze-no Garden is one of seven gardens on Hokkaido Garden Path.

It is laid out by Sayuki Ueno, born in Asahikawa in 1974. She had practiced gardening in UK.

This garden is also planned as a location of a Japanese TV drama, Kaze-no Garden, that was scripted by Soh Kuramoto, Japanese famous playwright, born in Tokyo in 1935. He has been living in Furano since 1977. Many of his drama scenes are laid in Furano area. He also had his theatre school in Furano for 25 years and  made actors and playwrights turned out.

Kaze-no Garden has been opened for public since 2009 and since then more than 400,000 people have visited there.

This is one of the attractive places in Furano during the summer season :D

This garden is located below the New Furano Prince Hotel.
