They tried the Furano Ropeway, which carries as many as 101 people at a time to the top, 900 m above sea level, in a 5 minutes ride from the bottom station.
Furano Prince Hotel operates it for its summer hiking and sightseeing season. International visitors get the ticket gratis.

They also visited Furano Cheese Factory and sampled the local cheeses.
